Just wondering what these lines mean though, I know fricht is fright, wuds possibly meaning "the likes" or probably means woods???

Im trying to learn the Highland Muster Roll after hearing the mind blowing singing of Ewan MacColl. Just wondering what these words mean in a particular line and where they are from, it probably comes from Highland Gaelic with it being a Jacobite song, but the way Ewan sings it it almost sounds like...
