Demolition of yet another Glasgow School

Hi there, Have not posted much recently, but back with a request! Regardless of divides of allegiances, I feel this is shocking that yet another school is to be demolished. Soon, there will be virtually none of this type remaining in Glasgow City. For those that have not read, Celtic Football Club p...

Re: A Street Under Argyle Street

Not sure if this will be of any use to anyone or not. I have a contact in the newly refurbished Central Hotel who is the facilities manager. She is quite happy to take me on a tour of the hotel whenever I want. Might be an excuse to explore the basement area?

Re: Tunnels in Lanarkshire

Yeah it would be a considerable climb and at one point at least would pass beneath a water course. My Uncle was a local historian but unfortunately passed away. He has passed the story of it to others who have retold as best they could but do not know the full story. My only thought is that it could...

Re: Tunnels in Lanarkshire

I know i would be inclined to agree but due to it being so popular locally as a belief then one can only assume there is no smoke without fire. Hopefully someone knows something more.
