I saw that one yesterday in South Street. (Or one identical to it) There's a garage along there I think that does classic cars, there was an...

Re: Lost Car Dealerships

Hi, "long time lurker makes very occasional post" alert! 8O I remember Callanders the Mercedes dealer on Great Western Rd/Southpark Ave corner (I think it's a shoe shop now!) because I used to walk past it every day going to school. Has anyone mentioned the wee nest of car dealers up at th...

Re: Lost record shops of Glasgow

Sorry if this has been covered already but I can remember two record shops at Kelvinbridge in the early 70s, just past Otago Street, one roughly where the 24 hr supermarket is now and the other just across the road. The name of one of them I think was Lawrence & Lang, and they also sold TVs &...

Re: Knightswood Sorting Office Problems.

This SO is a joke IMO. I get other people's mail, my neighbours get mine and for a good while recently they were totally incapable of actually bringing a parcel to my door. Even stuff that would fit through the letterbox like DVDs from Amazon they'd still put the wee red card through the door...

Re: Old Cars etc Spotted

HI all, just joined up. Here's a couple I spotted recently. Lovely old Moggy Minor, often see this pottering around the West End.
