It would be nice if a wee boat made the trip up the Broomielaw, into Glasgow Green side and then passed Rutherglen, Make a nice scenic route in the Summer. The weir would be an problem, but above that there's some nice bits. The river does get quite narrow at points, so ambushes by ethnic gangs mig...

Might be a duff idea, but to encourage participation, thought I could suggest a demographical walk. The core idea is that everyone does a bit of research on one location, rather than a single person moderating the walk. Only caveats are: it has to be at least a hundred years old and the more interes...

Was a bit down on the new place, but recently had a relative in, who, if they had gone to any of the old hospitals would certainly have died. She's home. She had to wait 6 hours for a bed, but she and her family were kept aware of what was going on and fed tea ::): Other things, like the first weeke...
