Re: Robert Pool's Glasgow

Aye Bob, Your collections are priceless and very interesting. I liked you collection of Bowling Club badges. Do you have any collection of amateur football medals or school badges? I still have my prefects badge from Bellahouston from 1975.
Keep up the good work!

Was that the Scottish Legal building that Arnold Clark used in the early 80's?

Re: Lost Car Dealerships

The original Skellys was in Motherwell, and sold Fords,I think there was some family bust up and Ian Skelly set up the VW place in Dalmarnock on his own. There was also a Croft garage at Cambuslang Road that sold Fords.

Re: Best Italian Restaurants

Only one winner here, get yourself along to Roma Mia in Darnley Street. Ask Michael or Massimo for their Tagliatellie Roma Mia, its gorgeous. Also great service and atmosphere. Would not go any where else.

I'm going to Roma Mia on Darnley Street on Friday with Mrs.Giblets. I'm gonna eat like a king. The scallops in lemon juice are amazing, followed by the tagliatelli Roma Mia special. - and plenty Merlot
