I'm from cumbernaud so if any old residents of the area want photo's taken of their old street or house etc I can do it for you .
I have only lived here for 26 years so I'm still a newbie :) .
Does anyone remember the tramolines in Kildrum I can't for the life of me remember where exactly they were

I love PMW's tours but unfortunatly can't make it along to this one...for anyone not been on one before ,try to make the time to get along,he always has realy interesting facts about the area and most people who have lived there didn't even know what was once on their doorstep.. hope it stays dry fo...

I loved a story in the Daily record a while back where they were talking about 2 neds,the paper mentioned their names but also wrote the 2 guys were known localy " as a pair of bampots"

When I was at school along at Alexandra parade and then Whitehill ,Duke atreet was always pretty busy with shoppers.There was some realy nice shops at one time...But although the Parade is still nice and has one or 2 nice shops ,Duke street is a mess .The last time I was there on a saturday afternoo...

I have just recently heard that in Abronhill we are to get 2000 new houses built (mixture of private and rented) a new high school and some new shops,looks like Abronhill might become a desirable area ...:) anyone want to buy my house ,it's just 2 minutes walk from that lovely photograph of broom ro...
